Winter Wonderland (not really!)

Posted on Dec 21, 2008 - 3:55 PM EST

If you’re reading this post from North America, you, like most of us, are probably stuck indoors cursing at the insane snow storms. I’m writing this post from Vancouver BC, 15 hours from take off. In 15 hours, I’m scheduled to be on a flight to Montreal. Only problem is that the pacific northwest is blanketed by a severe and rare snow storm and Montreal, as always, is experiencing their own version of orage de neige. I just checked the Montreal Airport arrivals/departures and every single flight in and out is either delayed on cancelled. I’ve got a connecting flight from Montreal to Saint John that I got to catch later the day, so as you can imagine, not looking forward to it at all.

The good news to all this is that I get some rare snow photography practice. I’ve been waiting for a good snow day - and now that it has arrived, check out some of my latest pics over at my Flickr page.

Winter Wonderland

I’m headed to NYC after Christmas - so if you’re in the NYC area and want to come say hi, shoot me an email. And if you want to keep up on my travel adventures (mostly bitchin’ about being stuck in an airport), follow me on Twitter! Happy Holidays!
