Tweetizen: Twitter Grouping and Sharing Made Possible

Posted on Mar 14, 2009 - 1:46 AM EST

Welcome to an all new Pallian.com! We did some spring house cleaning around here with a brand new design to coincide with our brand new startup Tweetizen. We launched Tweetizen two weeks ago and have been busy ever since fixing bugs, improving code and UI, tweeting and chatting with the press. Tweetizen, I believe, is the first and only twitter grouping website out there that is easy and quick to create and share groups.

I’ve been looking around for a while for a twitter grouping solution. There were rumors back in May ‘08 that twitter may come up with a solution by december, and when that didn’t happen, I decided to do something about it. Hence Tweetizen - a site that makes grouping tweets effortless.

The concept is simple: you sign-in using your existing twitter account, create a group based on either your interests or of your friends, family or colleagues and share them with the world. Already, we’ve seen groups from homelessness in Chicago to music groups created and shared.

Our goal is to be able to embed these groups on any website - taking twitter and it’s dynamic nature to more of a mass medium. We have tentatively set a launch date of embedding groups for March 23rd… so check back around then.

To get a better idea of Tweetizen, check it out HERE. Login, explore and get comfortable - as this is only the beginning!

You can read more about Tweetizen HERE and follow these 5 easy steps to get you started. Send us your feedback and your suggestions on how we can improve Tweetizen. If you spot a bug, send us a note HERE and we’ll make sure we get on it.

  • Love the Tweetizen!
Is it possible to generate a RSS feed from my group?

    Thijs
  • Thanks Ashley - i just realized that at some deep level, i may been inspired by your site's large fonts... i remember visiting your site a few months ago and being very impressed with the in-your-face font approach.
  • Love what you've done with the place. And congratulations on your cssmania listing.
