Embed Twitter On Your Website!

Posted on Mar 26, 2009 - 11:14 AM EST

That’s right! Tweetizen just launched the option for you to embed your own twitter group on to your own website! Now if that’s not cool, I don’t know what is!

It’s simple: You log on to tweetizen using your existing twitter username and password, create a group that filters down the tweets relevant to your interests and you simply embed that group to your website. The embed code is just 3 lines of code that you can add anywhere on your blog or website. You can even customize the look and feel of it by adding an extra stylesheet to override the default css stylings. Visit our FAQ page to learn more about embedding options and what you need to know before you embed.

Already, a few dozen websites have embedded our code. One I especially like is HotForWords, it just makes tweetizen a lot more sexier :-)

We’re currently also working on a private label solution that will give you more options for filtering and branding, along with more customization. If you’re interested in learning more, get in touch with us by emailing advertise@tweetizen.com or fill up THIS form.

We also have some big news coming up shortly with a whole bunch of URLs that have tweetizen embedded - maybe we’ll even create a showcase site so you can see how well customized some of our widgets are.

If you own a blog or a website - then head over to Tweetizen and get started!

  • very cool. thanks for the post!
  • thanks! if you're embedding it - send us your url to be added for the showcase.
  • Just wanted to know how to change the width of the embedded widget. Is it possible? Thanks!
  • Yep - just go to http://www.tweetizen.com/faq and it'll show you how you can do that. Ypu'll need to know some basic CSS in order to do it - we've also provided a sample CSS file.
  • Thanks Adarsh! I've customized: http://interactivewoo.com/tweet-with-me
  • looking good!
  • I have been waiting for this! its going on Giantnerd.com
  • awesome! looking forward to your link.

I just tried embedding it in my wiki and it didn't work. I was given this message:

This appears to be an invalid widget. We support widgets that contain either an EMBED tag for Flash content or that are contained within an IFRAME. Please check the code and try again
  • In order to embed, you should have complete access to the website - including the header file. Send me your link and I can try to help.
