Michael Jackson is Dead.

I was at a meeting when my blackberry went off the hook - and my blackberry only goes off the hook when something crazy happens on twitter. Sadly, the news was Michael Jackson has died. Michael Jackson’s Thriller album was my very first audio cassette and I’ve remained a faithful fan of his even with all the crazy drama that surrounded him throughout his life. I remember when the tabloids ran a story claiming that he slept in an oxygen chamber to slow the aging process, and the time he bought a pet chimpanzee called Bubbles to the time when he bought the bones of The Elephant Man - I mean, how crazy amazing is that! Eccentric, true… but it fascinated me beyond anything else those days, and still continues to fascinate me. I’m sad he’s dead - and my prayers goes out to his family and kids.
